DON'T BREAK THE CHAIN
Have you ever wanted to change your way of living? Have you stopped to think how to achieve it?
There are many ways to achieve this and one of them is the following
tool that this blog will show you: Don't break the chain.
OBJECTIVE:
Do not break the chain, it is a tool created by Jerry Seinfeld, he is a
famous comedian who explains how he managed to be so good with his jokes, he
did this by creating a new joke every day and marking it on a calendar, then
this became a routine and a new habit. After a short time, the results were
seen, the only condition was not to break the chain, to have continuity.
Currently there are some technological tools that help to form habits, for
example there is the Momentum app for iPhone and Habithub for Android.
REFLECTIVE:
We can use this method to acquire new habits and achieve new goals in
order to have positive changes. An objective, for example, is the following
question: how to be more organized? Currently there are experts and studies
that share their habits to achieve this change, such as the article "How
to organize your life: 10 habits of really organized people" (Lifehack,
2022). This page mentions the most important habits to be more organized,
explaining each action that one must carry out and implement in their day to
day and achieve the best results.
Another interesting article is "How to stay organized and why it is
important (with tips)" (In fact, 2023), this article tells us that
acquiring this habit has a positive impact on different aspects of life, such
as professional and personal.
INTERPRETIVE:
Continuing with the example of being more organized, as a new habit, it will bring many benefits for people in the professional field, who continually feel very pressured by the responsibilities that they have to fulfill in their jobs during their working hours; sometimes those tasks exceed the assigned time, which is accumulating every day and carrying an extra load outside of work, sometimes it greatly affects personal life, and this causes extreme tiredness and I get some illnesses. For this reason, acquiring this habit will bring us the following benefits, such as achieving greater productivity, a lower feeling of stress, greater motivation, better work and personal relationships, and having a more organized time to carry out different tasks with greater success. Likewise, you will find the satisfaction of carrying out different activities in an easy and organized way.
DECISIONAL:
After deciding what our new habit to acquire will be, an action plan
will be created; In our case, to be more organized, it will be to carry an
electronic agenda type application on the cell phone, its name is Todoist,
in which we are reminded day by day and by schedule of the activities to be
carried out, at the end of the day it will be verified if it was carried out
and tasks can be reorganized efficiently until we find a routine that offers us
better results. All this must be continuous and not break the chain.

The focus you give to the technique of not breaking the chain in the area of organization is very important. Through it, we can develop other good habits and improve our performance at work, ultimately giving us more time and a sense of satisfaction upon completing our activities. Personally, when I work, I strive to be as organized as possible to have some spare time for rest.
